The vanilla vodka lends the cake-like flavor to the juice. The grenadine sinks to the bottom. It even looks like a pineapple up-side-down cake.
Shake pineapple juice and vanilla vodka with ice in a tumbler. Pour into a martini cocktail glass. Add dash of grenadine, and serve.

My husband (who doesn't drink but loves the cake) tore these up...I added an extra oz. of pineapple juice to suite his taste more. For me both were great and I can't wait to make again!!!yum

add a splash of amaretto. it makes a HUGE difference; makes it taste more "cakey" as opposed to just pineapple.
