Celeb chef Curtis Stone had a longer journey to work than he bargained for on the weekend when his pregnant wife Lindsay Price drove off in their car, leaving her husband to hike the rest of the way.
The Los Angeles-based Aussie was seen walking along a highway near his Hollywood Hills home on Saturday with his apron tucked under his arm, after his wife of one year abruptly stopped the couple's Range Rover before Curtis exited in a hurry.
'My wife dropped me off as she was running late to a birthday party, so I walked a few blocks home before going to work,' the Take Home Chef star told Daily Mail Australia via his representative.

Hitting the road: Celebrity chef Curtis Stone was forced to walk along the road in Los Angeles after he abruptly got out of the car being driven by his wife, 90210 actress Lindsay Price
Curtis has an acclaimed restaurant, Maude, in Los Angeles.
The handsome 38-year-old looked somewhat at a loss as he began the walk back towards the couple's home, the rugged blonde not exactly dressed for a hot day of hiking in California in his casual blue T-shirt and jeans, as well as appearing heavier than usual and not at his peak of fitness.
An eyewitness said: 'He had his clothes in his hand. He was wearing jeans, a T-shirt and regular sneakers, and he was carrying a striped shirt, a white T-shirt and maybe a pair of pants.
'It was very weird. People don’t hike like that.'

SOS: The hunky blonde tapped on his phone as he walked along the road, perhaps asking to be collected
'He looked really upset and concerned,' the source added. 'It's 95 degrees [35 degrees Celsius] out here, by the way, and he’s got jeans on.'
Former 90210 actress Lindsay, who is pregnant with the couple's second child after giving birth to son Hudson two years ago, did not return, however another car soon appeared which collected the famous Australian to drive him the approximately two kilometres back to his home.
Just a couple of weeks ago it seemed to be all roses for the couple when they were spotted in the Hollywood Hills neighbourhood of Beachwood Canyon with their their two-year-old son Hudson.
Love in bloom: It wasn't all roses for the couple on the weekend but they looked much happier two weeks earlier when Curtis presented his pregnant wife with a stunning bunch of flowers
Pregnant Lindsay, 37, looked fantastic in a blue and white maxi dress with her growing bump on display as she was presented with flowers by her husband.
Enjoying his break from the kitchen, Curtis swapped his apron for some casual threads, matching his wife in a blue and white checked button-up shirt, teamed with a pair of dark trousers.
And it seems that the entire family was colour coordinated, with little Hudson also wearing a blue and white striped T-shirt teamed with a pair of blue ripped jeans.
The Daily Mail Australia has reached out to representatives for Curtis Stone and Lindsay Price for comment.
